On 12th July 2020, the final contest named “Mastermind 2020” was officially took place. The “Mastermind” contest is an annual competition in English presentations and debates for students in Hanoi, organized by English Club (EC – FTU) – Youth Union of Foreign Trade University. The theme of this year’s contest is “Consumerism in Today’s Society”. Attending the final night, there were Assoc. Prof, Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy – Vice President; MSc. Hoang Tuan Dung – Director of the FSSC Center; Lecturers; and judges, who are experts, business representatives and a large number of students from universities, academies, Colleges in Hanoi.
Following the success of previous contests, the final “Mastermind 2020” contest became the place where the top 4 best teams competed. Experiencing intense competition rounds, students/warriors with dreams of becoming future presenters and debaters entered the final battle to live their passion.
The final night witnessed a dramatic, fiery competition with sharp and convincing presentations and debates from all 4 teams. After a long journey of effort along with determination, each contestant has created contests that bring suffocating thrills in the hearts of viewers. After 3 rounds of competition, with wisdom, bravery, intelligence and prompt decision, the champion – CMOS 2 was officially called out. The team consisted of two students: Do Hoang Phuong Nhi – K57 Advance Program in International Business Economics and Vuong Nguyen Anh – High quality program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program.
