* Mission

The mission of the School of Economics and International Business is (1) to educate talents and provide high-quality human resources in the fields of applied economics and international business; (2) to create and to transfer scientific knowledge to meet the requirements of national industrialization and modernization; (3) to develop students’ scientific research and academic competence; (4) to practise working skills and lifestyle in the modern international environment. The School actively participates in academic exchanges, disseminates scientific and professional knowledge to researchers, the business community and society.

* Vision

The vision of the School of Economics and International Business is: “By 2030, the School of Economics and International Business will operate as an autonomous entity under the interdisciplinary and multi-field university, with applied research orientation. The School will be in the region’s leading schools in the field of applied economics and international business, closely cooperate with prestigious training partners and business community, enterprises domestically and internationally”.

* Objectives

– To enhance the faculty performance (lectures and supporting staffs);

– To be an internationally and nationally recognized center for quality teaching, scholarship, and research;

– To cooperate with international universities to set up joint programs which are compatible with standards of those universities in both of undergraduate and graduate levels;

– To contribute to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical reality through using educational programs which meet contemporary requirements in the fields of economics and international business;

– To cooperate with recruiting organization, creating favorable conditions for students to get suitable jobs after graduation;

– To develop and implement policies to retain highly valued faculty.
