Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

The International Business program is designed to equip students with a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enable them to thrive in a dynamic global environment. The Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) are categorized into three domains: Knowledge, Skills, and Autonomy & Responsibility.

1. About Knowledge

  • PLO1: Apply foundational knowledge of political science, social science and humanity, law, methodology, scientific worldview, information technology, and other general education knowledge to lifelong learning, research, and professional practice.

  • PLO2: Apply economic and business theories to describe global market strategies, competitive methods, and approaches to value creation within global value chains.

  • PLO3: Analyze international business knowledge and practices to develop business strategies, models, and forecasts that enhance firms’ competitive advantages.

  • PLO4: Analyze trends and development prospects in international business to innovate business models, identify core competencies, and promote entrepreneurship in the global environment.

2. About Skills

  • PLO5: Demonstrate research and data analysis skills to forecast opportunities and challenges in international business.

  • PLO6: Demonstrate innovation skills to apply and refine business models and methods in an international environment.

  • PLO7: Demonstrate effective communication and intercultural interaction skills in multicultural and international contexts.

  • PLO8: Formulate economic and business ideas in English skillfully (equivalent to level 5/6 of Vietnam’s Foreign Language Proficiency Framework).

  • PLO9: Demonstrate informatics skills and proficiency in using business data analytics software.

3. About Autonomy and Responsibility

  • PLO10: Integrate positive attitudes of proactive planning, management, and continuous improvement in professional activities and lifelong learning.

  • PLO11: Proactively arrange individual and teamwork in the globalized context; lead, supervise, and evaluate team performance effectively.

  • PLO12: Develop innovative thinking and self-directed ability to draw professional conclusions and defend personal opinions.

  • PLO13: Demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges, take responsibility for individual and collective tasks, and commit to serving the community.
