With the aim to become an industrial country, the Vietnam government has introduced policies to encourage investment in innovative startup business. Startups have become the wave that captures the public attention and stimulates involvement of people from all walks of life, especially youngsters. As a result, startup incubators, clubs, forums, and competitions have been widely established with the growing support from lecturers and students in colleges, including those in Foreign Trade University.
To engage and make contributions to the startup movement, and at the same time to combine teaching with scientific research while linking theory to practice, Foreign Trade University held a scientific seminar: “Start-up: From Ideas to Success”. The scientific seminar has attracted the participation of many lecturers, scientists, and experts in related fields. Many high-quality articles, which proved to be valuable references for research and training in Vietnamese universities, also contributed to the common objectives of the seminar.
