In 2020, Foreign Trade University offers 5 admission methods:
Method 01: Admission based on academic results in high school for candidates who are participating in the national competition for excellent students, winning award of the provincial excellent students competition in grade 11 or grade 12 and being students of the specialized system of the gifted high school (Circular 06/2012/TT-BGDĐT)
Method 02: Admission based on the combination of the International Foreign Language Certificate and the high school academic results for gifted students (according to Circular 06/2012/TT-BGDDT dated February 15, 2012 on promulgating organizational regulations and activities of gifted high schools) and students of the non-specialized system applying to English-taught programs and foreign language programs.
Method 03: Admission based on the combination of International Foreign Language Certificate and the results of the national high school graduation exam in 2020.
Method 04: Admission based on the results of the 2020 national high school graduation exam according to subject combinations.
Method 05: Direct admission in 2020.
