Seminar “Increasing trade protectionism and situation in Vietnam”

On September 18th, 2018, the School of Economics and International Business organized the  seminar “Increasing trade protectionism and situation in Vietnam”.

The seminar welcomed the participation of Ms. Pham Chau Giang – Deputy Director of Trade Remedies Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Thi Ly – Dean of the School of Economics and International Business, along with experts from the Trade Remedies Department, lecturers and students of Foreign Trade University.

At the seminar, Ms. Pham Chau Giang gave a speech and affirmed that trade remedies was becoming a new trend in international trade activities, management agencies and Vietnamese businesses need to prepare appropriate measures  to this context and trend.

After the end of this seminar, Ms. Pham Chau Giang had a meeting with the Board of Director of Foreign Trade University and the School of Economics and International Business. Two parties discussed on the long-term cooperation plan between the Foreign Trade University and Trade Remedies Department in training and research on international trade and trade remedies.
