From November 18, 2013 to November 21, 2013, Foreign Trade University with the delegation leader is Assoc. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong – Deputy of Faculty of Economics and International Business (FEIB) and some lecturers and students of Foreign Trade University, attended a training course on Trade and Transport Facilitation, organized in Bangkok, Thailand
Training program on Trade and Transport Facilitation takes place at the Thammasat Business University, based in Bangkok, Thailand, was under the cooperation and exchange program of expertise including researchers, lecturers and students from four Universities: Thammasat Business University (Thailand), University of Turku (Finland), Mara Technology University (Malaysia) and Foreign Trade University (FTU) (Vietnam). The representative of FTU attended the program were Assoc. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and International Business, MSc. Pham Thanh Ha (Lecturer of Insurance and Transportation), MSc. Bui Duy Linh (Lecturer of Insurance and Transportation) and some FTU students.
The main program was held in 3 days, from November 19, 2013 to November 21, 2013. By that time, the 3rd Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Week was organized at the Conference Center of the United Nations Economics and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN – ESCAP). Therefore, the delegation of lecturers and students of the school was honored to participate in the guideline on Trade Facilitation process within the Asia-Pacific region and accessible databases sources.
Under the framework of the training program, lecturers and students from four universities also joined in some seminars in which some lecturers from four universities sharing the experiences of Trade and Transport Facilitation in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. Then, they were divided into small groups and conducted analytical studies on the status of Trade and Transport Facilitation in four countries.
